1. Locate the **model name** displayed at the top of the chat interface
2. Tap either the **model name** or the **dropdown icon** next to it

#### Step 2: View Your Starred Models

When the model selector opens, you'll see:

* **Starred models and agents appear first** — These are the models you've marked as favorites for quick access on your desktop
* This prioritized view helps you quickly switch between your preferred options

**Important:** Only models and agents that you have previously starred will appear in this initial view.

### Managing Starred Models

**⚠️ Important Limitation:**

* You **cannot star or unstar models** directly from the mobile app
* To add or remove models from your starred list, you must use the **desktop platform**
* Changes made on desktop will automatically sync to your mobile app
* Your starred models will then appear first in the mobile model selector

**To star/unstar models:**

1. Log in to the desktop platform and access a bot you either are the **owner** or **editor** of → functionality only available to these bot roles
2. Access the model selector in any chat
3. Click the star icon next to models you want to prioritize

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.blockbrain.ai/~/revisions/cIYk4huBoAvhOouMPj2d/mobile-app/switching-ai-models-and-agents.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
